Hello again, fellow citizens of the United States and dear guests from all around the world! You know, at first (much like the others), I haven’t really paid much attention to the Toyota Prius brand. Well, what can I say – it didn’t instantly strike me as a big player in the market (hey, even I can be wrong sometimes :)). It’s got that cute little touch to itself, almost like a childish one. Yeah, it’s a nice-looking tiny baby, nothing more. At least, that’s what I thought. But, over the years, this brand made me look at it at a completely different angle, and I even started to respect it.
Toyota Prius: Legend In The Flesh
Alright, so, today we’re gonna talk about the Toyota Prius specs. Now, as I’ve told you in my previous remark about the Prius, it’s an iconic leader for the hybrid vehicles, almost like Michael Jackson or The Beatles, only in the automobile industry. That’s a fact, y’all; for over 14 years, this guy has been holding the number one spot for, drum roll please, “The Most Recognizable Car In The United States”. That’s a big one, and you don’t just get that title for being a tiny sneaky fella.
Saying this is like a party car, or a real mid-size stud to impress the ladies, and gain respect among the fellas, but, if you decide to buy it, it will become your best friend on the road, and even off it. Believe me; I have some friends who feel just like that about the Prius.
A peculiar fact: The Hybrid Synergy Drive system, that allows the Toyota Prius to achieve the revolutionary fuel-efficiency, hasn’t changed a bit in the last 6 years, and still, nobody in the market could come even close to it. So, if you wanna know about the Toyota Prius Specs, this is like the first one in the list. Engine-wise, this car doesn’t make any magic happen – its peak is 134HP, which is kinda slow, but, gotta admit – nobody’s really gonna try out the Prius in a street-racing event, right? It’s a civilian vehicle, one best suited for driving aroudn the city. And that’s what people buy it for.
Specifications of Toyota Prius
The engine is a 1.8-lit 4-Cyl type, plus, the Prius has a pair of electric motor-generators. These babies can feed the car with solar or electrical power, and get you about 30mph. There’s an Eco Monitoring system on the dash board that indicates the engine status, and automatically employs the most efficient power source – it’s a pretty awesome technology.
Ok, so, talking about Toyota Prius Specs, I gotta tell you, that the interior is great; I mean, nothing luxurious or anything, but it’s cozy, it’s noise-free, and it’s got a great dash board, that includes Navigation, USB and Bluetooth ports, a great multimedia system, a touch tracer display, remote air conditioning, etc. The seats (Prius got 5 of those) are really cool – Toyota has incorporated its own SofTex material; it’s feels like leather, but weights roughly half as much. Next, the cargo capacity is surprisingly big – you can fit a lot in there. And finally, safety: Prius has a total of seven airbags, for everybody in the cabin, and plus, a Vehicle Proximity Notification system. And that means you and your loved ones will be in good hands, trust me.
