Corolla has been one of Toyota’s big success stories in the United States market. With over 40 million “copies” sold, this brand is one of the most popular vehicles on Earth. It’s pretty much like the other huge Japanese brand – Camry: affordable, safe, reliable, and well-priced. Now, both the Corolla and the Camry never really were big eye-catchers. They have always been the workhorses of the automobile industry, so to speak. Never really breakdown, never really complain – they just do their job, and do it well. That’s why these brands have such a big loyal customer base – because they always deliver on their promises, which is very important in the business of selling cars; basically, it’s important everywhere.
A Cinderella Story
Alright, so, the Corolla was always comfortable – happy even – with its looks. It was never its strong suit, its forte, but, the four-door sedan had other ways of compelling and gaining trust (the big sales didn’t just happen, you know). However, with the upcoming release of the Toyota Corolla 2015 Special Edition, the situation is gonna change drastically. I mean, this version of the brand is a true beauty, and it’s turning heads. You got a dazzling red exterior paint, fancy black alloy wheels, and also great seats with a special touch of red; the Corolla almost looks like a sports car now!
50 Years In The Making
Ok, so, what’s the occasion, you might ask. Well, ladies and gentlemen, the occasion, so it happens, is really big – the Toyota Corolla 2015 Special Edition is made in honor of Toyota’s 50-year mark of working in Canada (first arrival of the Japanese enthusiasts was back in 1964). I know, that some folks thought this to be the 50th anniversary of the Toyota Corolla brand – now you know that’s not the case.
Only two thousand of these Toyota Corolla 2015 Special Edition models have been built, and you can get yourself one of those only in Canada (the cars were manufactured in Cambridge, Ontario).
By the way, see, what’s Colrolla 2017 is gonna be like.
The Toyota Corolla 2015 Special Edition is based on the Corolla S trim, and comes with a price tag of 21K. If you want climate control, and a moonroof, you gotta pay an extra $500; and if you want paddle shifters and a variable transmission, than this beauty will cost you 22,5 thousand dollars – which is pretty affordable, actually.
Color-wise, there is a lot to choose from; I’m not even gonna try to spell the official names right now; just know, that you’ve got white, metallic, and black at your disposal (plus the red, of course). All of those colors give the Corolla an unusual aggressive and stylish look. In the cabin the red makes wonders. I kid you not, guys, that red stitching all over the place – it really looks great.
The interior, by the way, is pretty roomy – that’s the courtesy of the recent Corolla redesign. Plus, there is a really nice heating system of the front seats. The dash board is really cool, too. In addition to all the great features of the standard Corolla, you’ve got a 6.1-inch touchscreen display, voice commands, as well as buttons on the wheel, that allow the driver to control the volume of the music, and make/answer calls, with his/her hands still on the wheel. In terms of engine, Corolla has the same old 4-cyl engine, capable of 132 HP, combined with a 6-speed automatic transmission. Fuel consumption is pretty democratic, by the way.
So, that’s the Toyota Corolla 2015 Special Editon for you, guys! If you want to add one of these to your garage, you gotta make reservations pretty quckly – otherwise, they’ll simple run out!
