Asia’s biggest automobile manufacturer, the Japanese giant, Toyota, had some setbacks and problems with distribution these past few years, but, despite the fact, today the company is full of energy and grit, and is ready to hit the market worldwide with its newest offerings. And even a quick look at Toyota 2016 models tells you instantly, that this year, the Japanese brand has all the necessary tools and tricks to dominate the industry like never before.
Today, we’re gonna take a look at the company’s biggest success brands, and tell you everything you need to know about the 2016 editions. RAV4, Corolla, Tacoma, and, of course, the Land Cruiser – one of Toyota’s greatest achievements. Get yourself a cup of tea (or coffee), and get ready for Toyota 2016 models.
Toyota RAV4 2016
For quite some time, the RAV4 was one of the best SUVs in the market, with great space for passengers, and cargo, plus it showed great results off-road. At the same time, the latest edition was – let’s be honest – kinda bad. And, for Toyota, that’s like a death certificate. So, the company has issued an official statement, assuring the countless fans out there, that everybody will be happy with the 2016 model. We’re excited. The Japanese don’t just use words lightly, you know? You heard about the code of honor, right?
So, to be short – we believe that the RAV4 will be constructed around a brand new modular platform – that’ll make it one of the few lucky ones. This actually means that the company can invest big budgets, and not worry for it all to be in vain. The design is supposed to change almost to a completely new one. Of course, the engine will be replaced, and, most importantly, we think that the running gear will transform into an all wheel drive system. Some experts predict all the Toyota 2016 models to go though the same big remodeling.
No official information about the price, but it’s likely to be the same, as with the 2015 edition.
Toyota Corolla 2016
Corolla Sedan holds the flag for being one of the best-selling Toyota brands ever. It first launched back in 1966. Even then, the car had a great success. In 1997 this baby was the best-selling car in the whole wide world! And so, nothing less is expected from the 2016 model.
However, since the company made some redesigning job on the brand in 2014, we don’t predict dramatic changes in the upcoming 2016. Maybe some new colors and minor polishing touches. The price is almost certainly gonna be just like before – 17000-20000$.
Toyota Tacoma 2016
Tacoma was the only brand that skipped an update in 2014. However, at the announcement of Toyota 2016 models, it was clear, that the famous truck is about to make a comeback in 2016. The company kept all the information a secret, though, but, some details still leaked.
The car itself was shown to the public a short time after, and got people exited. Bad news is, it’s gonna use that old chassis that all the previous editions had. But, the good news is, we got a completely new style, and a fully redesigned interior, that’s really something else. And finally, there’s a new engine installed, as well as some new trim offerings. Again, the price is expected to be the same as in 2015.
Toyota Land Cruiser 2016
Ok, so, our final review in the Toyota 2016 models list is the famous Land Cruiser. As always with the Japanese brand, there’s not a lot of information about the new edition. Well, we can say, that, most likely, it’s gonna be a hybrid version of the existing model. Inside the cabin, you can expect a “royal treatment”, which includes all of the great details of the 2015 model, including high-standard materials for the seats, and unique colors.
The dash board will be nothing short of a technological and visual heaven. Next, you’ll get stability control, four-wheel traction control, and the classical proximity warning alarm. We personally want an air conditioning system with four zones, and expect a V8 engine. No guess on the price, though.
So, overall, 2016 is going to be a productive and profitable year for Toyota.
