A wise man once said that sex is what makes the world go round, and he was right – dead right. And the term “sexy” doesn’t even have to do with beautiful women. In the automobile industry we use this word to describe a gorgeous vehicle, an awesome design with sleek, sharp, attractive contours and lines. The engine roaring might also be sexy, but only to the biggest gearheads in the neighborhood. There’s nothing wrong about making a car attractive, that’s what makes folks fall in love and empty their bank accounts for the chance to own a drop-dead killer Lambo, Ferrari or Maseratti. However, today we won’t talk about those brands, even though they are – in every right – one of the best in the game. This time around we’ll take a different turn and discuss the best-looking supercars for 2016 in terms of that sex appeal. I’m actually not a big fan of making everything about sex on TV, in music videos and in all the social media apps, but when it comes to cars I think it’s only natural to make them sexy and seductive. Double standards? Maybe!
More Supercars To Make The World A Better Place
Alright, ladies and gentlemen, I’ve got Bugatti, Acura, Aston Martin and a couple of surprise guests tonight, so, I promise, you won’t get bored :). This year we’ll get some serious heat from the world of luxury, sporty, and, of course, super cars. Yep, 2016 will most definitely leave its mark in the history of exceptional designs, mighty powertrains and innovative technology. The tide is finally turning and the majors in the industry are investing more and more bucks into new developments, including from-the-ground-up supercars. It actually takes a lot of courage to roll out a completely new model in these dark financial times, but still, I can’t help but notice heavy mobilization on the market. So, the following list includes the most beautiful, breath-taking, heart-pumping and life-changing cars that will make you work hard just to be able to take at least one of them for a spin (as a rental). It takes only one glance to get stuck in your head, and that’s all you’ll ever need to get obsessed over a car. Ok, without further ado, let’s discuss the best-looking supercars for 2016.
#1 – The Aston Martin DB11
Ok, let’s start the list with a bit of that British class, shall we? Aston Martin is not new to the world of supercars. In fact, they’ve been at it for as long as the monsters in the name of Ferrari, Lamborghini and Bugatti. By the way, the recent DB10 model “starred” in the latest James Bond movie, Spectre, which was a huge box office hit and brought a lot of attention to Aston Martin. And now, in 2016, England’s finest is 100% focused on rolling out with the DB11. Critics claim this new effort is the spearhead of the brand’s re-launch and will come with a new design and construction platform, along with a superior interior. On the inside the future customers will get off-the-charts luxury and comfort, with all the latest technological features and a “royal” attitude. Under the hood the Aston Martin DB11 will pack a twin-turbo AMG V12 engine, capable of big, impressive things. Expect the official introduction later this year, and for now you can watch that Spectre movie again, although, it’s not really that good, if you ask me. Wait, don’t tell Daniel Craig about it!
The Best-Looking Supercars For 2016 – #2, The Acura NSX
Acura used to be huge back in the day, but lately we rarely get any news from the once-legendary brand. Thankfully, it’s finally time for the OG to shine again. The NSX is probably as legendary as the Ford GT for the true auto enthusiasts and so, even though they made us wait for a life-time, the folks behind the resurrection deserve a round of applause. Besides, it’s officially slated for production and will arrive sometime this spring. Ain’t that great news? The estimated starting price-tag on the Honda/Acura supercars is 150K, and the redesigned hybrid sprinter will come equipped with a twin-turbocharged V6 gasoline-powered engine that works in conjunction with 2 electric motors, paired to a 9-speed dual-clutch transmission. The combined output of the hybrid powertrain is about 570-580 Horsepower, with a top speed of 191 miles per hour. For 150K that’s a pretty sweat deal, folks. And the NSX is definitely one of the best-looking supercars for 2016, don’t you agree?
#3 – The Trion Nemesis
Alright, this one’s been under the wraps for a while, and, talking about long-time-no-see supercars, I just have to remind y’all about the Trion Nemesis. Last time we saw this unapologetically sexy concept car was back in 2014, but that aggressive attitude just keeps haunting the gearheads around the globe. It’s a limited-production model that is (or, at least, was) available in 3 different editions: the first one is the AWD (all-wheel drive) RR, the second one is the RR Black Ops that’s allegedly good for 2K horsepower (that’s 2000HP), and the last version is the rear-wheel drive GT that puts out 1400HP and comes with a price-tag of 1.2 million dollars. Sources claim the Trion Nemesis is slated for a 2016 release, so, don’t be surprised if you see more of this futuristic baby in the nearest future.
The Best-Looking Supercars For 2016 – #4, The Bentley EXP 10 Speed 6
This new release from the UK-based brand is officially confirmed to be constructed upon a Porsche platform – can you believe that? That’s great news, for sure, but I just wanna point out that Bentley was never actually involved into sports car production before. However, with all things considered, I don’t think for a second that the company won’t be able to outcome all the difficulties and introduce the next jaw-dropping and revolutionary car in 2016. A fresh set of wheels from the Kingdom’s finest might just be what the industry needs this year. And even if it fails to impress us in terms of powertrain (which I highly doubt), you just know that a Bentley car will be absolutely gorgeous and breath-taking on the inside, with all kinds of luxury-level materials, trims, and, of course, all the modern tech. This is that premium luxury, folks – it doesn’t get any better! The exterior design is a bit unusual for the brand, but still catches the eye. You’ve got sharp lines and sleek contours living together in peace and prosperity. So, yeah, the new Bentley is going to be one of the best-looking supercars for 2016. The estimated price-tag will be around 250K.
#5 – The Bugatti Chiron
Ok, this is the end of the line, my friends, the sexiest supercar on the market in 2016. Bugatti, the French visionary, has been dominating the Guinness book as maker of the fastest production car in the world for a while now (with the Veyron), and now, with the Chiron coming into play, I’m guessing they’re is here to stay. The new model will – naturally – be faster, quicker, more powerful and more futuristic in design. So, if you’re a millionaire (or a billionaire) and want to spend two and a half million American dollars on a car this year, the Chiron might just be it for you. The anticipation is high and the only question right now is – will the new kid on the block be able to live up to the hype? I sure hope so! At the recent Geneva Motor Show we got the officials characteristics: the supercar is powered by an engine that’s pumping out 1480 Horsepower and 1180 lb-ft of torque. As for acceleration, you’ve got the new Bugatti zinging from zero to 60 miles per hour in 2.5 seconds; top speed is around 288 mph. And that’s about all you need to know to consider the Chiron one of the best-looking supercars for 2016. But I think you already knew that, didn’t you?
