In the automobile industry Toyota is known as one of the best companies at manufacturing sedans. It has always been the superior one among the major players in the business – take Camry or Corolla, for example. The company will, once again, show its excellence with the release of the highly anticipated 2017 Toyota Avensis, which is expected to be much better than the previous models. Gotta say up front, that I don’t really know exactly what kind of features it will come packed with. Nobody does at this point. But, it’s Toyota we’re speaking about, so, I bet they’ve got something great cooking up in their facilities. In any case, you can bet they’ll add all the latest features as well as something very special and unique.
Toyota 2017 Avensis: Main Features
The 2017 Toyota Avensis is predicted to look much like the 2016 model.
But, undoubtedly, it will get some new features and improvements to keep up with the ever-hungry competition. It’s quite possible, that the 2017 model will get a new style and aerodynamic design that will make it more appealing to the spoiled modern-day customers. Toyota – always the secretive one – never really shares much about their latest developments, and right now we don’t have much info about the new Avensis. At the very best, new information will be shared only a few months before the release date. By the way, check out the other 2017 Toyota models that are coming soon.
However, we can still be sure that it will come packed with such features as: side padded doors, airbags, powered mirrors, powered doors, departure control, an air conditioner, audio and video systems, parking sensors, a big touch-screen display, traction control, and 17-inch alloy wheels. On the higher trim levels the 2017 edition will offer high-tech equipment, including Navigation control, automatic locks and a telescoping steering wheel.
That’s not all: they say there will be some very exciting design improvements, like tinted glass for the rear window and the introduction of a receptacle wiper.
All this beauty will be available in the Combo trim level of the new Avensis. In addition, expect brand-new and cool-looking headlights and taillights, as well as fog lights. And, it looks like the 2017 Toyota Avensis will incorporate some of the best features of the Lexus GS vehicle, which is constantly being compared to the Avensis due to the overall similarities – especially in the exterior.
As for the interior, experts say it’s gonna be pretty much the same, with some minor refreshments, like maybe a new dashboard, better materials for the higher trim levels, tri-zone climate control, adjustable front seats, and more. So, overall, the 2017 edition will be much like the 2016 model, but it will still have a lot of new and exciting equipment as well as some improvements in design to catch your eye in the nearest dealership lot.
So, a lot of car enthusiasts are eager to know: what kind of powertrain will the 2017 Toyota Avensis have? I don’t want to disappoint you folks, but there’s no officially confirmed information about that and Toyota will probably reveal any piece of info at the very last moment. It may come packed with a 1.6-lit or a 1.8 lit gas engine. In the first case, the Avensis will be able to produce 132HP and 118 pound feet of torque; or, if it ends up with the second engine, then it will have a little bit more power – 147 Horsepower and 133 ft-lb of torque.
One thing is certain: with the competition rising by the minute, I for one expect Toyota to spend some big bucks on the engine and make it at least competitive. So, I won’t be surprised if they decide to go with a 2.0-lit engine, capable of 153HP and 133 ft-lb of torque that was available with the 2016 edition. I say again, with the other sedan brands coming out of their comfort zones just to please the customers, the new Avensis gotta roll out something really exciting to win us – the customers – over.
Toyota Avensis Release
You know the drill: whenever a new and anticipated vehicle is just around the corner, people immediately start speculating about the release date, claiming all kinds of crazy dates, like tomorrow or 3 years later. I you ask me, I think it’s gonna happen sometime between late 2016 and early 2017. Well, we’ll know for sure when it’s out, but that seems like a reasonable timeline for Toyota to make its move.
What about the price of Toyota Avensis 2017? Still a very mysterious subject. I predict the new 2017 Toyota Avensis to cost around 28-30K – I’m talking about the basic trim level. The higher trim levels will probably have price tags close to 35 or even 40K. In any case, I suggest you save some extra money if you want to buy such an affordable, yet luxurious vehicle in the future. Yep, that’s exactly what the new Avensis is gonna be.
