The first exposition of the Toyota Helix brand was back in 2005. 10 years is not that much of a time period for the automobile industry, so, we haven’t seen any proper redesigning or remodeling happen. Up until today, no significant variations were available on the market. But, with the Hilux Toyota 2015 release, that’s going to change. Toyota’s main intention with the Hilux was to make it a city-drive-approved kind of a car.
Hilux Toyota 2015: The Best Of The Best
But, ever since the first launch, the brand managed to develop into a prime among the trucks. This impressive result was achieved via excellence, effectiveness, reliability, and design. So, the Hilux Toyota 2015 is gonna go through a beauty parlor, and, I for one am really excited to see what it’s gonna transform into; the first feedback from the experts is a happy one, so, there’s hope for the best.
2015 Hilux Toyota In Details
As you might know, the Hilux brand was never intended for the American market. That’s gonna change with the 2016 edition, but, before that beast comes out, let’s talk about the current state of events. Toyota has been popularizing the Hilux all over the globe, (except for Japan, Korea, and the US), making it one of the most successful trucks out there. So, with the 2015 model, the main goal is gonna be in holding the top spot, and providing a little bit more of that edge and class.
Expect some major work on the brand, and an introduction of some cool new advancements. The changes will touch the exterior, as well as the interior, the cabin, the cargo space and capability (3.000kg!) There will be some new materials on the seats (leather and cotton), and the dashboard is gonna be improved as well. The new Hilux Toyota 2015 will be available in three models – the standard single-cab, the extended cab, and a “crew” cab. Also, the 2015 edition is gonna be a lot better in terms of comfort and safety.
The Powertrain of Hilux Toyota 2015
Unfortunately, there’s not much information about the powertrain of the 2015 Hilux Toyota, but it’s expected to be roughly the same as with the previous model. The engine is gonna be a 4 or 2-cyl diesel one, 2.5-lit, with a total of 171HP and 360 Nm of torque. It will be a 4 wheel drive, with a 5-speed automatic transmission. The fuel consumption is predicted to be around 9l for every 100 kilometers.
No official information on the release date of the Hilux Toyota 2015, but, my guess is it’s gonna be out in summer/autumn this year.
