Hello and welcome, guys, nice to see y’all again! Lately, me and you, we’ve been talking about all kinda of cars, Toyota brands included – old models, new models, trucks, sedans, hybrids, SUVs – you name it. What unites that all is that they’re either available right now, or are gonna arrive on the market in the nearest future. We all know that the Japanese are cooking up the new Tacoma 2016 with the Atkinson cycle, the new Prius with an even better fuel-efficiency system, a new Camry with more comfort and ride, and also the next editions of all the great Toyota brands we know and love. But today I wanna switch it up a bit and talk about future Toyota cars.
Future Toyota Brands
As you know, the engineers and bright minds at Toyota are always in the factory, churning out ideas non-stop for new future Toyota models. These cars are usually revealed by the company as concept cars before the production. As a fan of everything new and exciting, especially from my favorite Japanese manufacturer, I try to always be on top of things, and get all the news about future Toyota cars and concepts; I’m sure, you do too. So, with that in mind, I’ve picked out three concept cars today, and I’m eager to discuss them with you guys.
The FT-1 Concept
The Ft-1 Concept (or the new Supra, as many experts in the industry like to call it) is a true piece of art. I mean, if you can appreciate the beauty in a vehicle, then you’ll see the glory in this one. The Ft-1 was first exhibited at the 2014 North American Show in Detroit and became an instant hit. The hearts and minds of automobile enthusiast all over the globe were captured by this pretty little dame.
The Big Come Back
Influenced by Toyota’s glorious history of making top-class sports cars, the FT-1 is a 100% future Toyota brand, designed to perform equally good on and off the track. In fact, a lot of Toyota Supra fans from The Fast And The Furious era have been calling for a big come back of the brand, and the new FT-1 Concept may as well be Toyota finally answering the prayers. There’s no official information about the release date – some say it’s gonna come out in late 2015 (I don’t think that’s the case), and other claim we will not see it until 2018.
The FC-V Concept
Toyota scored big with the fuel-efficiency of the Prius brand, and it’s about to make even more groundbreaking news. The creative minds at Toyota are currently working on a completely new model – the FC-V concept, also known as the Mirai. So, the idea behind this future Toyota model is to make it harness the power of hydrogen, without producing any emissions whatsoever.
Toyota claims this new baby is emitting only water vapor, which makes it the most environment-friendly brand ever. The release date is believed to be late 2015. If you wanna know more about this little revolution the Japanese are trying to accomplish, visit the official web-site and dig in.
The Fun-Vii Concept
And finally, let’s talk about the fun car. Yep, that’s what it’s called – the Fun-Vii concept. Now this is one of those things that only the Japanese can bring to life. This little fella is something out of this world. The entire body of the car is a giant LED display, fully customizable with a never-ending number of colors and various designs with just a few touches on your Smartphone. The interior is also adjustable. The engine is gonna be completely electric and charging wirelessly. So, this is a true future Toyota car – it doesn’t get any more futuristic than the Fun-Vii.
So, that’s it! The Fun-Vii concludes our journey to the future. Stay tuned and make sure to check back with me to get the latest updates on everything new and exciting in the industry.
