Toyota, The Japanese giant, the big bad Asian wolf, like they call it sometimes in the United States, has been taking over the whole world with a slow, but sleek march. They’ve sold more cars, than any other automobile manufacturer in the world. Plus, Toyota is the wealthiest car-specialized company ever existed. And it’s not gonna stop – actually, it’s just beginning; all the previous claims were just the warm-up. You know Toyota’s latest slogan – “Let’s Go Places”? Well, it seems like they take it literally. The Japanese have been around the world a couple of times, conquering country after country, region after region – including America.
You could not ever realize it, but Toyota is everywhere around you – arguably, the Japanese brands have more street credit in the neighborhood, than native Ford and Chevy ever did. Jocks drive the Tacoma, girls drive the Prius, couples drive the Camry, your mom drives the Corolla, and your dad drives the Helix. You – well, you’re just a kid yet, so, you’re not even allowed to drive. If you are, then you have a Toyota as well – you just don’t want to admit it.
Me – I’ve had the pleasure of riding all those wildly successful brands, and consider myself something of an expert. Now, I’m an American, born and raised right here in the States, but, I’m a fan of Toyota. Why? I don’t know – maybe I just have a thing for exotic Asian beauties. You could call it a young boy’s crush, but, the joke’s on you: I’m a 35-years old man, who knows a thing or two about our native automobile industry, but still names the Japanese mogul the best. That’s because it is – it’s the best (and the wealthiest, by the way) brand in the world. Yep, I said it. And I stand by it. You disagree? No? Ok then – let’s proceed.
That mighty-mighty brand
Alright, so, as we’ve settled the best in the business, let’s move onto defining the best in the house – the best Toyota Car. As I’ve just told you, I’ve had experience with pretty much every Toyota brand ever existed (even with a couple of conceptual models, that never saw the light of day), and currently, I own 3 vehicles by the Japanese giant – a 2015 Tacoma (really great for some wild off-road experience), a 2015 Prius (well, not me, exactly – my girlfriend does, I just drive it sometimes), and, just recently, I bought myself a Camry (also 2015 edition – me and my nephew take it for a ride sometimes). I also had a Corolla, but I gave it as a gift to my old high-school friend (yep, that’s how much of a great guy I am) – and she really loves it.
An Impressive Line-Up
Oki-doki, let’s get down to it; So, folks, in my previous reports, I’ve told you in great details about all of the successful Toyota brands, the main contestants for the best Toyota car title, and that includes the aforementioned Camry (the best-seller of the best-sellers), Corolla (Toyota sold over 40 million of those), Tacoma (one of the most respected and loved Mid-Size trucks ever), Tacoma and Helix (also mid-size trucks, ready to make big comebacks with the newest editions), Prius (the father – or, rather yet, the mother – of hybrids, the most familiar car in the US), Celica (a pretty damn cool sport-car, capable of 310HP, and with a price-tag of about 30K), RAV4 and Highlander (both are exceptional SUVs, and both cost roughly 40-50K), the 4Runner (another SUV, with a bit different, and really loyal fan-base), and, of course the Hiace (a van with about 50 years of great success all over the world – sold in over 140 countries – and an affordable price for a transport car; 60K).
Oh yeah, that’s a big list, ladies and gentlemen, so, if you want to read about each and every one of them in greater details, please, be my guests, and read my reviews – they’ve got all the information you need to become experts in the area.
Now, as far as the title for the best Toyota car goes, I can’t really decide who the winner is. You know, it’s like Superman vs. Batman – you want them both to win, or, better yet, like a Christmas present dilemma: “What do you want for Christmas this year?” I want it all, please! And then some! Alright, let me put it to you like this: Best sedan – Camry. Best Mid-Size Truck – Tacoma. Best SUV – the Highlander. Best girlfriend’s car – Prius.
So, I guess, if you want to know, who holds the title for the best Toyota car, you need to ask yourself a question first – what are you in the market for, my friend?
